when I try to load sql dump, I receive the following: error 2006: mysql server has gone away?  Print this Article

To address this issue, perform the following:

 

  1. Open the /etc/my.cnf file with your preferred text editor.
  2. Enter max_allowed_packet=#* in the [mysqld] section.Save the file.Save the file.
  3. Save the file
  4. Restart MySQL with the # /scripts/restartsrv_mysql command.

* Replace # with number
