can users be assigned privileges to a certain number of mysql databases and a different number of postgresql databases?  Print this Article

No. However, packages allow you to set the maximum number of databases an user can create regardless of the type.

For example, if you set the Max Databases to 10, users can have :

  • Ten MySQL databases
  • Ten PostgreSQL databases
  • Two MySQL and eight PostgreSQL databases
    • This can be any combination that adds to ten.
